WOW. I drive past most of these fabulous houses almost every day and never really see them. It is time to slow down and "smell the roses," or in Hollidaysburg slow down, "see and appreciate our beautiful heritage."
Hollidaysburg is quaint and beautiful. Thank you for sharing your great photos. I am familiar with so many of these homes and do a car tour at least once a year. Just a pleasure to see them up closer!!
I never realized just how much I missed this town after moving away. I can look at a lot of the houses and name someone who has grownup or lived in each.
Oh how nostalgic!! I know many of these places fondly!! I babysat in 2, had friends who lived in 4 of these, my Mom's friends lived in 1, and my Mom worked in 1, our old neighbor is the Warden, I lived in an apartment of 1, and I would walk to & from school each day looking at these beautiful historic places and daydream about what they looked like inaide or how magical it would be to live in one.... and how pretty they are decorated at Christmas time.... warms my heart! Thank you for publishing!!
Proud to be an owner of one of these historic home, Love it!
